Davisville Management Company – Davis Apartments for Rent

The DavisApartmentsForRent.com is the website for the Davisville Management Company’s online apartment rental advertising program.  The Davisville Management Co. manages three properties that serve the needs of college students attending the nearby University of California, Davis. The three apartment rental properties are Aggie Square Apartments, Almondwood Apartments, and Fountain Circle Townhomes.

The main DavisApartmentsForRent.com website and the three apartment rental sites are all part of Davisville’s Internet marketing and engagement efforts. The websites help them connect with prospective renters by providing them with a wealth of information about the apartments.

Video is an important feature of the three rental sites.  A full-width video showing the features of the rental facility and the apartments is on the homepage giving potential renters a view of what is available.  A testimonial video is located on the Amenities page providing tenant comments about the rentals.

Website Features

The main DavisApartmentsForRent.com site serves as an introduction to the three rental property websites. The main image provides an example of what college living can be; strong friendships that last a lifetime. The menu bar provides quick access to floor plans from the various apartment rentals and direct access to the individual apartment rental sites.

Further along in the body of the webpage, there are summaries of the individual rental sites with links to floor plan and pricing information and more links to the individual property sites.  This duplication of links provides easy access for visitors using a desktop computer to access information and for visitors using mobile devices.

Social sharing links are located along the left sidebar providing an opportunity for friends to share information on their preferred social network.  On mobile devices, the social sharing feature moves to the bottom of the page and utilizes a fly-out feature that keeps the menu out of view until needed.

For the individual rental websites, the same template is used to provide a similar look and feel across all the sites.  Color schemes were modified to give each site a unique look.  Color schemes were developed using the rental property logos.

Full-page sliders are featured across the top of the homepages.  The sliders use images to showcase college life and rental property features.  The sliders contain strong calls to action (CTA’s) and links to relevant information, such as: Contact Us, Amenities, and Floor Plans and Pricing.

Continuing down the homepage there are sections with CTA and links to other information on the website.  Some of the information is a duplication of information found in the full-page slider and other information is unique for the page.  All the information found in the slider and on the page can be accessed via the menu system at the top of the page.

Mobile Features

With all four Davisville Management websites, a focus was placed on mobile access.  Easy to read fonts, bright colors, large buttons, and a thoughtful layout make mobile access easy and intuitive.

For mobile viewing, the website content is reorganized for quick access to key features.  For mobile devices, a link to a workorder form and a click to call button are added to the top of the page so residents can easily connect with facility management.
