Armadillo Music has been serving Davis, UC Davis, and the surrounding community since 1996 with a huge inventory of vinyl LPs, CDs, DVDs, cassettes, and music related gear!

New releases, gently-owned music, special orders, Armadillo Music can help. Either in-store, via phone, or email, they are ready to connect you with the music you are looking for. New or used, they can ship anywhere in the world with a credit card and your address!

From classical to jazz, reggae to rock, and country to punk, Armadillo Music has many of those hard to find titles.

Website Design Process

Armadillo Music elected to have a complete website design package. The package included website hosting setup, website design, graphic design services, and photography services.  

Working with the client, the overall website design was developed. Information was pulled from the existing website and augmented with additional copy. 

A photography session was setup to take photographs in and around Armadillo Music. The photographs were used to provide website visitors an idea of what the location looks like and what items are available to customers.

Website Features

The ArmadilloMusic.com website uses a balance between text and images to showcase the products and services provided by Armadillo Music.

The website has a standard banner section that is consistent throughout the site. The banner section is home to branding, services, and contact information.

The homepage provides a nice cross-section of items available at the record store. An Image slider displays a customer perspective of what can be found on the shelves. A blog module along the left sidebar highlight the new releases and other items available for sale.

Facebook and Twitter feeds are integrated into the homepage for greater visibility and improved social interaction.

Other graphics provide quick links to information located on the website.
