2nd Street Storage Logo [REWORK]
High-quality graphics are an important part of most any website design project. With the 2nd Street Storage website update, we needed to update the business logos.
The customer was able to provide the logo graphics in JPG format only. Although JPG images are a standard format for presenting images and graphics on websites, we were limited on our ability to utilize the logos as provided. Image size and resolution were not sufficient for the desired applications. As a result, Abaton Consulting provided graphic design services to create the logo in a format that was appropriate for the website redesign project.
To rework the 2nd Street Storage logo, I imported the JPG version into Adobe Illustrator. Adobe Illustrator is a wonderful tool for creating graphics for web design projects.
By importing the original the image in Illustrator, I was able to match dimensions, colors, fonts, etc to rebuild the logo in a vector format illustration.
Once the logo was recreated as a vector image in Illustrator, different versions of the logo were able to be created.
The main logo is in a horizontal (or landscape) format. Depending upon the purpose, other shapes and sizes are needed.
An additional square version was created to be used for social media and browser tab icons.
With the 2nd Street Storage logo now in a vector format, we can, if necessary, quickly modify the logo design. We are able to create graphics to fit almost any purpose.
Here is the Second Street Storage logo in place on their website.
